PAC held our Annual Christmas Banquet And AGM in December with an election of officers.
The Pacific Aeromodellers Club continues to be quite active on a local level. At the request of BCIT Vocational Institute we Will be participating in a Controline Flying & Static Display at the BCIT Open House on April 12, 2008.
We continue to share the Rice Mill Flying Site with the VGMC (Vancouver Gas Model Club) for sport and contest flying purposes. PAC has af association with the Mission Wings Model Flying Club in Mission, B. C. Which sponsors control-line flying annually at the excellent R/C site in Mission.
In 2007, after meetings with the Abbotsford Parks Commission, PAC obtained special authorization for a third control-line site in the Abbotsford/Clayburn Park ocation, subject to specific scheduling.
Control-line is alive and well in British Columbia!
